Job Title: Lead Application Developer
Location: Roseland, NJ
ADP Technology Services, Inc. seeks a Lead Application Developer at our Roseland, NJ location. Responsibilities: Develop and enhance payroll software applications for ADP’s clients. Participate in the software development lifecycle, including planning, design, development, testing and implementation on a Scrum Agile team delivering solutions consistent with business objectives. Deliver code, conduct code reviews and leverage direction set by architects to ensure consistency across multiple applications. Conduct statutory change analysis with a focus on technical internal and external specifications, coding, testing and documentation. Perform unit and functional and system testing of software applications/solutions. Develop test cases and test software applications using standard accepted practices for unit, system, integration and performance testing. Identify software vulnerabilities, devise solutions to implement tests, and perform stress tests. Resolve all reported issues and troubleshoot and support software solutions on an ongoing basis.
Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems or a related field plus seven (7) years of related experience. Telecommuting permitted.
Three (3) years of experience must include: COBOL; CICS; DB2; VSAM; REXX; IBM utilities & INSYNC; QMF; IDZ; MVS; JCL; SQL; TSO; ISPF; Mainframe source control software, including ChangeMan; and Agile Methodologies.
